Blood type diet is found if Dr Peter D'Adamo, author of "Eat Right for Your Type". According to him, the chemical reaction occurs between the blood and the foods you eat. This reaction is part of the genetic heritage. This reaction is caused by a factor called Lectins.

Lectins and diverse proteins found in foods have properties that affect your blood agglutination.
